Today will be a little bit of a different post, I recently subscribed to HelloFresh! Today’s post will be a quick review/roundup of my box and thoughts. I will also include some photos and the PDF’s of the recipes if you would like to give them a try! ( And I TOTALLY recommend you do!) Mike and I have tried the meal delivery kits before with Blue Apron. We enjoyed that, but I found the meals to sometimes be a little too adventurous for my palette. I decided to give HelloFresh a shot, they offer a “family” plan geared towards families with finicky eaters and serves four, so for my household.. that fits the bill. The menu options rotate weekly and there are so many yummy choices! The kit that I have ordered contains two meals per week to feed 4 people. Retails for $69.92, but there is usually a coupon code. Check out my page on products I love, in my Life Tab, to find a promo code for $40 off your first box you to use!
Sliced Steak Tagliata: Good plate! I needed to add a few regular potatoes for my picky bunch, but it was delicious all the same. We also did not use all the sweet potatoes, or the grape tomatoes for the same reason. We are also not big balsamic fans, so Mike was a happy camper and LOVED the grape tomato vinaigrette. Green beans were simple and very fresh. All in all, I think this was a great meal, and fairly easy to whip up. See photos Below!
Loaded Potato Chowder: So delicious! A bit tedious to make, with all the potato peeling, but despite that it was a really tasty meal. It really was just like eating a loaded baked potato! This chowder was a winner among the entire family! And that’s saying something! Will be definitely be keeping this recipe in rotation, and I highly suggest you all give it a try as well! I would recommend serving this chowder with some warm pretzel bread! See photos below!
